World Equipment Outreach Program
The Berkshire Baseball & Softball Club will be conducting their World Equipment Outreach Program. The club will be organizing one drop off date during the 2009 season where you can bring your used baseball & softball equipment and donate it.
The organization will then donate the equipment to the Olivet's Boys & Girls Club of Reading & Berks County as well as overseas through their new partnership with the National Alliance of Youth Sports and their Global Gear Drive.
Please donate items that can still be used. Financial contributions to help offset the cost of shipping can be made at the drop off location or via the secured link right here on our web site. All donations, equipment and financial, are tax deductible.
Equipment can be dropped off on the following date and location:
Thursday, July 8, 2010 - 2-8 PM
First Energy Stadium
Outside Main Gate (Left Side)
Rt. 61, Reading, PA
(This will be conducted in conjunction with the annual Baseballtown/Berkshire Scholarship Fund Games, which will feature the Berkshire Red Sox 15-U vs. Potter's Pirates at 3:00 PM and the Berkshire Red Sox Optimist team vs. the Berkshire Blue Sox Optimist team at 6:00 PM).
